If your shop only watches one portal, you will miss direct electrical RFTs and the prequalifications that gate later invitations.

Solicitation 26-PROC-0052. Status: Open. Closes October 6, 2026. Sixty-month facilities electrical maintenance and repair under the Trade Services – Electrical category. Online submissions only; the question window closed September 28.
Solicitation RFPQ_HIGHMAST_2026. Status: Open. Closes October 6, 2026. Contractor prequalification to replace eight high-mast lighting assemblies on the Canadian plaza in Fort Erie. Hard-copy submission only; only prequalified primes will be invited to the fall 2026 bid.
Direct electrical work still open
Solicitation RFT-3651-26. Status: Open. Closes October 8, 2026. Sixty-month scope across water and wastewater facilities: HV/LV preventative maintenance, deficiency repairs, and emergency call-outs. Electronic submissions only; the published package requires a $75,000 bid deposit by EFT or wire.
Solicitation Q2026-36. Status: Open. Closes October 14, 2026. RFQ for tennis-court lighting replacement, distribution equipment, and related work. Registration closed September 28 — if you are not already registered, call Purchasing before you spend estimating hours.
Solicitation 26-086. Status: Open. Closes October 15, 2026. Supply and install poles and sports-field LED lights, new electrical service, conduit and wiring, and a control post at Hastings Field, to IES RP-6-24 and NCAA lighting standards (drawings E1–E2, MJS Consultants).
Prequalifications you cannot skip
Miss a PQ and you are locked out of the later RFT — even if you could have won the work.
Solicitation PQ2026-26. Status: Open. Closes October 15, 2026. Electrical contractor prequalification for switchboard, incoming feeder, and panelboard upgrades. Questions close October 8.
Solicitation PQ2026-27. Status: Open. Closes October 14, 2026. Replace an obsolete PLC control panel that runs blowers, analyzers, and valves at 1001 Erb Street West, with temporary controls so the 24/7 plant stays online. Questions close October 7.
Solicitation 2026-463PQ. Status: Open. Closes October 14, 2026 (moved from October 12; updated Oct 8). GC-led prequalification at occupied housing (6025/6045 Glen Erin Drive, Mississauga). Electrical shops: chase plan-taker primes as a sub. Questions close October 6 at noon.
Solicitation 2026-174SQ (MERX reference 0000325780). Status: Open on MERX. Roster window runs to October 8, 2030. Apply early if you want campus electrical and communications invitations in Toronto.
